{"id":221,"date":"2012-02-15T21:30:43","date_gmt":"2012-02-15T21:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wsga-amgs.org\/?page_id=221"},"modified":"2012-02-15T21:50:56","modified_gmt":"2012-02-15T21:50:56","slug":"tools","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wsga-amgs.org\/?page_id=221","title":{"rendered":"Assessment Tools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Approach<\/strong> \u000b(based on internal and external audits)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The assessment system will be based on :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u00abBasic universal Principles of good\u00a0 governance in the Olympic and sporting Movement\u00bb, preliminary document from February 1st 2008;<\/p>\n<p>The assessment system for the governance of sporting organisations by Sandro Arcioni (2007);<\/p>\n<p>The integration of both systems will allow to have additional indicators in the analytical framework (by taking into account the autonomy of the members of the Olympic Movement).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Levels of Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Level 1: <em>Management<\/em> of organisations or &#8220;corporate governance&#8221; by their managers.<br \/>\nLevel 2: <em>Governance<\/em> or &#8220;management of management&#8221; by the authorities of each organisation (statutes, board, general assembly &#8230;).<br \/>\nLevel 3: <em>Regulation<\/em> or &#8220;management of governance&#8221; using specific devices: professional organisations, administrative Authorities (dedicated authorities), jurisdiction bodies.<br \/>\nLevel 4: <em>Harmonisation<\/em> of regulation systems or &#8220;governance of governance&#8221; by political means (laws, regulations), by judicial appeal.<br \/>\nLevel 5: <em>Metagovernance<\/em>: basic principles concerning the organisation of collective life: at the level of states (constitutions) at the international level (international treaties).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment of the governance mode \u000busing 18 dimensions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Governance Levels\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; \u00a0\u00a0 Dimensions<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1.
